Water Damaged Tile

Water damage harms all flooring, even tile.  The grout in between tiles absorbs extra water and can soften.  Because grout is porous, it will stain and become the color of the water that flooded it. The water also loosens the tile adhesive and penetrates the subfloor, causing the tiles to loosen.
